In response to the quest for the green and sustainable production of valuable chemicals, such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemical, and functional materials, this laboratory focuses on the development of environmentally friendly "green" processes based on the newly developed cooperative catalysts, and their application to shortstop syntheses of biologically active natural and unnatural products. Following topics are currently investigated.
- Reaction with N-Unprotected Ketimines
- Catalytic α–Functionalization of Carboxylic Acid Equivalents and Unprotected Carboxylic Acids
- Sterically Hindered Unnatural α–Amino Acid Synthesis
See Publication List for the details.
